Sahih Bukhari 1649 – English Translation
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) performed Tawaf of the Ka`ba and the Sa`i of Safa and Marwa so as to show his strength to the pagans. Humaidi has added a little bit more and Sufyan, Amr, Ataa reported from Hadrat Ibn-e-Abbas رضی اللہ عنہما according to that (Hadith).
Sahih Bukhari 1649 – Urdu Translation
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے بیت اللہ کا طواف اور صفا مروہ کی سعی اس طرح کی کہ مشرکین کو آپ اپنی قوت دکھلا سکیں ۔ حمیدی نے یہ اضافہ کیا ہے کہ ہم سے سفیان بن عیینہ نے بیان کیا ، ان سے عمرو بن دینار نے بیان کیا ، کہا کہ میں نے عطاء سے سنا اور انہوں نے ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے یہی حدیث سنی ۔

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ إِنَّمَا سَعَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِالْبَيْتِ وَبَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ لِيُرِيَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ قُوَّتَهُ. زَادَ الْحُمَيْدِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرٌو، سَمِعْتُ عَطَاءً، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، مِثْلَهُ.
