Sahih Bukhari 1617 – English Translation
When the Prophet (ﷺ) used to perform the circuit of the Ka'bah first time, he would run the first three circuits walkthe four he (ﷺ) would also also run through the Batnul Maseel (a depression: Irfan) when he(ﷺ) would march between Safa and Merwah.
Sahih Bukhari 1617 – Urdu Translation
نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جب بیت اللہ کا پہلا طواف ( یعنی طواف قدوم ) کرتے تو اس کے تین چکروں میں آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم دوڑ کر چلتے اور چار میں معمول کے موافق چلتے پھر جب صفا اور مروہ کی سعی کرتے تو ”بطن مسیل“ ( وادی ) میں دوڑ کر چلتے ۔

حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ إِذَا طَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ الطَّوَافَ الأَوَّلَ يَخُبُّ ثَلاَثَةَ أَطْوَافٍ، وَيَمْشِي أَرْبَعَةً، وَأَنَّهُ كَانَ يَسْعَى بَطْنَ الْمَسِيلِ إِذَا طَافَ بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ.
