Sahih Bukhari 1558 – English Translation
`Ali رضی اللہ عنہ came to the Prophet (ﷺ) from Yemen (to Mecca). The Prophet (ﷺ) asked `Ali, "With what intention have you assumed Ihram?" `Ali replied, "I have assumed Ihram with the same intention as that of the Prophet (ﷺ)." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "If I had not the Hadi with me I would have finished the Ihram." Muhammad bin Bakr narrated extra from Ibn Juraij, "The Prophet (ﷺ) said to `Ali, "With what intention have you assumed the Ihram, O `Ali?" He replied, "With the same (intention) as that of the Prophet." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Have a Hadi and keep your Ihram as it is."
Sahih Bukhari 1558 – Urdu Translation
حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ یمن سے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے پوچھا کہ کس طرح کا احرام باندھا ہے ؟ انہوں نے کہا کہ جس طرح کا آنحضور صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے باندھا ہو ۔ اس پر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ اگر میرے ساتھ قربانی نہ ہوتی تو میں حلال ہو جاتا ۔محمد بن بکرابی کی روایت میں یہ اضافہ ہے کہ نبیﷺنے فرمایا:’’اےعلی!تم نے کس چیزکااحرام باندھا ہے؟انہوں نے عرض کیاکہ جس چیز نبیﷺ کا احرام باندھا ہے .رسول اللہﷺ نےحضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ کو حکم دیا:اپنی قربانی کو قابورکھواورجیسے اس وقت ہواسی حالت میں محرم رہو۔
Sahih Bukhari 1558 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْخَلاَّلُ الْهُذَلِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، حَدَّثَنَا سَلِيمُ بْنُ حَيَّانَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مَرْوَانَ الأَصْفَرَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ قَدِمَ عَلِيٌّ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم مِنَ الْيَمَنِ فَقَالَ " بِمَا أَهْلَلْتَ ". قَالَ بِمَا أَهَلَّ بِهِ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم. فَقَالَ " لَوْلاَ أَنَّ مَعِي الْهَدْىَ لأَحْلَلْتُ ". وَزَادَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " بِمَا أَهْلَلْتَ يَا عَلِيُّ ". قَالَ بِمَا أَهَلَّ بِهِ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " فَأَهْدِ وَامْكُثْ حَرَامًا كَمَا أَنْتَ ".
