Sahih Bukhari 1542 – English Translation
A man asked, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! What kind of clothes should a Muhrim wear?" Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) replied, "He should not wear a shirt, a turban, trousers, a headcloak or leather socks except if he can find no slippers, he then may wear leather socks after cutting off what might cover the ankles. And he should not wear clothes which are scented with saffron or Wars (kinds of Perfumes) . "
Sahih Bukhari 1542 – Urdu Translation
ایک شخص نے پوچھا کہ یا رسول اللہ ! محرم کو کس طرح کا کپڑا پہننا چاہئے ؟ آنحضور صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا نہ کرتہ پہنے ، نہ عمامہ باندھے ، نہ پاجامہ پہنے ، نہ باران کوٹ ، نہ موزے ۔ لیکن اگر اس کے پاس جوتی نہ ہو تو وہ موزے اس وقت پہن سکتا ہے جب ٹخنوں کے نیچے سے ان کو کاٹ لیا ہو ۔ ( اور احرام میں ) کوئی ایسا کپڑا نہ پہنو جس میں زعفران یا ورس لگا ہوا ہو ۔
Sahih Bukhari 1542 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ أَنَّ رَجُلاً، قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا يَلْبَسُ الْمُحْرِمُ مِنَ الثِّيَابِ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لاَ يَلْبَسُ الْقُمُصَ وَلاَ الْعَمَائِمَ وَلاَ السَّرَاوِيلاَتِ وَلاَ الْبَرَانِسَ وَلاَ الْخِفَافَ، إِلاَّ أَحَدٌ لاَ يَجِدُ نَعْلَيْنِ فَلْيَلْبَسْ خُفَّيْنِ، وَلْيَقْطَعْهُمَا أَسْفَلَ مِنَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ، وَلاَ تَلْبَسُوا مِنَ الثِّيَابِ شَيْئًا مَسَّهُ الزَّعْفَرَانُ أَوْ وَرْسٌ ".
