Sahih Bukhari 1520 – English Translation
I said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! We consider Jihad as the best deed." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "The best Jihad (for women) is Hajj Mabrur. "
Sahih Bukhari 1520 – Urdu Translation
انہوں نے پوچھا یا رسول اللہ ! ہم دیکھتے ہیں کہ جہاد سب نیک کاموں سے بڑھ کر ہے ۔ پھر ہم بھی کیوں نہ جہاد کریں ؟ حضور صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ نہیں بلکہ سب سے افضل جہاد حج ہے جو مبرور ہو ۔
Sahih Bukhari 1520 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا حَبِيبُ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ بِنْتِ طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أُمِّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، نَرَى الْجِهَادَ أَفْضَلَ الْعَمَلِ، أَفَلاَ نُجَاهِدُ قَالَ " لاَ، لَكِنَّ أَفْضَلَ الْجِهَادِ حَجٌّ مَبْرُورٌ ".
