Sahih Bukhari 1516 – English Translation
The Prophet (ﷺ) sent my brother, 'Abdur Rahman with me to Tan'im for the 'Umra, and he made me ride on the packsaddle (of a camel). 'Umar رضی اللہ عنہ said, "Be ready to travel for Hajj as it (Hajj) is one of the two kind of Jihad".
Sahih Bukhari 1516 – Urdu Translation
نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان کے ساتھ ان کے بھائی عبدالرحمٰن کو بھیجا اور انہوں نے عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کو تنعیم سے عمرہ کرایا اور پالان کی پچھلی لکڑی پر ان کو بٹھا لیا ۔ حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا کہ حج کے لیے پالانیں باندھو کیونکہ یہ بھی ایک جہاد ہے ۔
Sahih Bukhari 1516 – Arabic Text
وَقَالَ أَبَانُ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ دِينَارٍ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، رضى الله عنها أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بَعَثَ مَعَهَا أَخَاهَا عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ، فَأَعْمَرَهَا مِنَ التَّنْعِيمِ، وَحَمَلَهَا عَلَى قَتَبٍ. وَقَالَ عُمَرُ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ شُدُّوا الرِّحَالَ فِي الْحَجِّ، فَإِنَّهُ أَحَدُ الْجِهَادَيْنِ.
