Sahih Bukhari 1495 – English Translation
Some meat was presented to the Prophet (ﷺ) and it had been given to Barira رضی اللہ عنہا (the freed slave-girl of Aisha) in charity. He said, "This meat is a thing of charity for Barira رضی اللہ عنہا but it is a gift for us." Abu Dawood, Shobah, Qatadah, Hadrat Anas رضی اللہ عنہ reported it from the prophet (ﷺ).

نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں وہ گوشت پیش کیا گیا جو بریرہ رضی اللہ عنہا کو صدقہ کے طور پر ملا تھا ۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کو یہ گوشت ان پر صدقہ تھا ۔ لیکن ہمارے لیے یہ ہدیہ ہے ۔ ابوداؤد نے کہا کہ ہمیں شعبہ نے خبر دی ۔ انہیں قتادہ نے کہ انہوں نے انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا وہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے بیان کرتے تھے ۔
Sahih Bukhari 1495 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أُتِيَ بِلَحْمٍ تُصُدِّقَ بِهِ عَلَى بَرِيرَةَ فَقَالَ " هُوَ عَلَيْهَا صَدَقَةٌ، وَهُوَ لَنَا هَدِيَّةٌ ". وَقَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ أَنْبَأَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، سَمِعَ أَنَسًا، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم.
