Sahih Bukhari 1491 – English Translation
Al-Hasan bin `Ali رضی اللہ عنہما took a date from the dates given in charity and put it in his mouth. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Expel it from your mouth. Don't you know that we do not eat a thing which is given in charity?"
Sahih Bukhari 1491 – Urdu Translation
حسن بن علی رضی اللہ عنہما نے زکوٰۃ کی کھجوروں کے ڈھیر سے ایک کھجور اٹھا کر اپنے منہ میں ڈال لی تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ۔ چھی چھی ! نکالو اسے ۔ پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ کیا تمہیں معلوم نہیں کہ ہم لوگ صدقہ کا مال نہیں کھاتے ۔
Sahih Bukhari 1491 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ أَخَذَ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ تَمْرَةً مِنْ تَمْرِ الصَّدَقَةِ، فَجَعَلَهَا فِي فِيهِ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " كِخٍ كِخٍ ـ لِيَطْرَحَهَا ثُمَّ قَالَ ـ أَمَا شَعَرْتَ أَنَّا لاَ نَأْكُلُ الصَّدَقَةَ ".
