Sahih Bukhari 1449 – English Translation
I am a witness that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) offered the Id prayer before delivering the sermon and then he thought that the women would not be able to hear him (because of the distance), so he went to them along with Bilal رضی اللہ عنہ who was spreading his garment. The Prophet (ﷺ) advised and ordered them to give in charity. So the women started giving their ornaments (in charity). (The sub-narrator Aiyub pointed towards his ears and neck meaning that they gave ornaments from those places such as earrings and necklaces.)
Sahih Bukhari 1449 – Urdu Translation
اس وقت میں موجود تھا جب رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے خطبہ سے پہلے نماز ( عید ) پڑھی ۔ پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے دیکھا کہ عورتوں تک آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی آواز نہیں پہنچی ‘ اس لیے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ان کے پاس بھی آئے ۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ بلال رضی اللہ عنہ تھے جو اپنا کپڑا پھیلائے ہوئے تھے ۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے عورتوں کو وعظ سنایا اور ان سے صدقہ کرنے کے لیے فرمایا اور عورتیں ( اپنا صدقہ بلال رضی اللہ عنہ کے کپڑے میں) ڈالنے لگیں ۔ یہ کہتے وقت ایوب نے اپنے کان اور گلے کی طرف اشارہ کیا ۔
Sahih Bukhari 1449 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلٌ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ، قَالَ قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ أَشْهَدُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم لَصَلَّى قَبْلَ الْخُطْبَةِ، فَرَأَى أَنَّهُ لَمْ يُسْمِعِ النِّسَاءَ، فَأَتَاهُنَّ وَمَعَهُ بِلاَلٌ نَاشِرَ ثَوْبِهِ فَوَعَظَهُنَّ، وَأَمَرَهُنَّ أَنْ يَتَصَدَّقْنَ، فَجَعَلَتِ الْمَرْأَةُ تُلْقِي، وَأَشَارَ أَيُّوبُ إِلَى أُذُنِهِ وَإِلَى حَلْقِهِ.
