Sahih Bukhari 1396 – English Translation
A man said to the Prophet (ﷺ) "Tell me of such a deed as will make me enter Paradise." The people said, "What is the matter with him? What is the matter with him?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "He has something to ask. (What he needs greatly) The Prophet (ﷺ) said: (In order to enter Paradise) you should worship Allah and do not ascribe any partners to Him, offer prayer perfectly, pay the Zakat and keep good relations with your Kith and kin." (See Hadith No. 12, Vol 8).
Bahz, Shoba, Muhammad bin Uthman and his father Uthman bin Abdillah, Musa bin Talha, Hadrat Abu Ayyub reported the same from the prophet (ﷺ). Imam Abu Abdullah Bukhari said: I fear Muhammad is "Ghair Mehfooz" and he is Amr.
Sahih Bukhari 1396 – Urdu Translation
ایک شخص نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے پوچھا کہ آپ مجھے کوئی ایسا عمل بتائیے جو مجھے جنت میں لے جائے ۔ اس پر لوگوں نے کہا کہ آخر یہ کیا چاہتا ہے ۔ لیکن نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ یہ تو بہت اہم ضرورت ہے ۔ ( سنو ) اللہ کی عبادت کرو اور اس کا کوئی شریک نہ ٹھہراو ۔ نماز قائم کرو ۔ زکوٰۃ دو اور صلہ رحمی کرو ۔
اور بہز نے کہا کہ ہم سے شعبہ نے بیان کیا کہ ہم سے محمد بن عثمان اور ان کے باپ عثمان بن عبداللہ نے بیان کیا کہ ان دونوں صاحبان نے موسیٰ بن طلحہ سے سنا اور انہوں نے ابوایوب سے اور انہوں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے اسی حدیث کی طرح ( سنا ) ابوعبداللہ ( امام بخاری ) نے کہا کہ مجھے ڈر ہے کہ محمد سے روایت غیر محفوظ ہے اور روایت عمرو بن عثمان سے ( محفوظ ہے ) ۔

حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَوْهَبٍ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ، رضى الله عنه أَنَّ رَجُلاً، قَالَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَخْبِرْنِي بِعَمَلٍ يُدْخِلُنِي الْجَنَّةَ. قَالَ مَا لَهُ مَا لَهُ وَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " أَرَبٌ مَالَهُ، تَعْبُدُ اللَّهَ، وَلاَ تُشْرِكُ بِهِ شَيْئًا، وَتُقِيمُ الصَّلاَةَ، وَتُؤْتِي الزَّكَاةَ، وَتَصِلُ الرَّحِمَ ". وَقَالَ بَهْزٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ، وَأَبُوهُ، عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَنَّهُمَا سَمِعَا مُوسَى بْنَ طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ، بِهَذَا. قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَخْشَى أَنْ يَكُونَ، مُحَمَّدٌ غَيْرَ مَحْفُوظٍ إِنَّمَا هُوَ عَمْرٌو.
