Sahih Bukhari 1320 – English Translation
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Today a pious man from Ethiopia (i.e. An Najashi) has expired, come on to offer the funeral prayer." (Jabir رضی اللہ عنہ said): We lined up in rows and after that the Prophet (ﷺ) led the prayer and we were in rows. Jabir رضی اللہ عنہ added, I was in the second row."
Sahih Bukhari 1320 – Urdu Translation
نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ آج حبش کے ایک مرد صالح ( نجاشی حبش کے بادشاہ ) کا انتقال ہو گیا ہے ۔ آؤ ان کی نماز جنازہ پڑھو ۔ جابر رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ پھر ہم نے صف بندی کر لی اور نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان کی نماز جنازہ پڑھائی ۔ ہم صف باندھے کھڑے تھے ۔ ابوالزبیر نے جابر رضی اللہ عنہ کے حوالہ سے نقل کیا کہ میں دوسری صف میں تھا ۔
Sahih Bukhari 1320 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُوسَى، أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، أَنَّ ابْنَ جُرَيْجٍ، أَخْبَرَهُمْ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَطَاءٌ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ يَقُولُ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " قَدْ تُوُفِّيَ الْيَوْمَ رَجُلٌ صَالِحٌ مِنَ الْحَبَشِ فَهَلُمَّ فَصَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ ". قَالَ فَصَفَفْنَا فَصَلَّى النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَلَيْهِ وَنَحْنُ صُفُوفٌ. قَالَ أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ كُنْتُ فِي الصَّفِّ الثَّانِي.
