Sahih Bukhari 1311 – English Translation
A funeral procession passed in front of us and the Prophet (ﷺ) stood up and we too stood up. We said, 'O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! This is the funeral procession of a Jew." He said, "Whenever you see a funeral procession, you should stand up."
Sahih Bukhari 1311 – Urdu Translation
ہمارے سامنے سے ایک جنازہ گزرا تو نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کھڑے ہو گئے اور ہم بھی کھڑے ہو گئے ۔ پھر ہم نے کہا کہ یا رسول اللہ ! یہ تو یہودی کا جنازہ تھا ۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ جب تم لوگ جنازہ دیکھو تو کھڑے ہو جایا کرو ۔
Sahih Bukhari 1311 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مِقْسَمٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ مَرَّ بِنَا جَنَازَةٌ فَقَامَ لَهَا النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَقُمْنَا بِهِ. فَقُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، إِنَّهَا جَنَازَةُ يَهُودِيٍّ. قَالَ " إِذَا رَأَيْتُمُ الْجَنَازَةَ فَقُومُوا ".
