Sahih Bukhari 1088 – English Translation
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "It is not permissible for a woman who believes in Allah and the Last Day to travel for one day and night except with a Mahram."
Yahya bin Abu Katheer and Sohail and Imam Malik corroborated him from Maqburi and he from Hadrat Abu Hurairah رضی اللہ عنہ .
Sahih Bukhari 1088 – Urdu Translation
نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ کسی خاتون کے لیے جو اللہ اور اس کے رسول پر ایمان رکھتی ہو ، جائز نہیں کہ ایک دن رات کا سفر بغیر کسی ذی رحم محرم کے کرے ۔ اس روایت کی متابعت یحییٰ بن ابی کثیر ، سہیل اور مالک نے مقبری سے کی ۔ وہ اس روایت کو ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے بیان کرتے تھے ۔
Sahih Bukhari 1088 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ الْمَقْبُرِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لاَ يَحِلُّ لاِمْرَأَةٍ تُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ أَنْ تُسَافِرَ مَسِيرَةَ يَوْمٍ وَلَيْلَةٍ لَيْسَ مَعَهَا حُرْمَةٌ ". تَابَعَهُ يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ وَسُهَيْلٌ وَمَالِكٌ عَنِ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه.
