Sahih Bukhari 1018 – English Translation
A man complained to the Prophet (ﷺ) about the destruction of livestock and property and the hunger of the offspring. So he invoked (Allah for rain. The narrator (Anas) did not mention that the Prophet (ﷺ) had worn his cloak inside out or faced the Qibla.
Sahih Bukhari 1018 – Urdu Translation
ایک شخص نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے ( قحط سے ) مال کی بربادی اور اہل و عیال کی بھوک کی شکایت کی ۔ چنانچہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے دعائے استسقاء کی ۔ راوی نے اس موقع پر نہ چادر پلٹنے کا ذکر کیا اور نہ قبلہ کی طرف منہ کرنے کا ۔

حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَافَى بْنُ عِمْرَانَ، عَنِ الأَوْزَاعِيِّ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ رَجُلاً، شَكَا إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم هَلاَكَ الْمَالِ وَجَهْدَ الْعِيَالِ، فَدَعَا اللَّهَ يَسْتَسْقِي، وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ أَنَّهُ حَوَّلَ رِدَاءَهُ وَلاَ اسْتَقْبَلَ الْقِبْلَةَ.
