Sahih Muslim 3846 English Text:
Ibn ‘Umar (Allah be pleased with them) reported that they were beaten during the lifetime of Allah’s Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) if they had bought foodgrains in bulk and then sold them in the spot without shifting them (to some other place).

معمر نے زہری سے ، انہوں نے سالم سے ، انہوں نے حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت کی کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے زمانے میں اگر وہ ( وزن اور ماپ کے بغیر ) اندازے سے ( ڈھیر کی صورت میں ) غلہ خریدتے اور اس کو منتقل کرنے سے پہلے اسی جگہ فروخت کرتے تو اس پر ان کو مار پڑتی تھی

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، «أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يُضْرَبُونَ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا اشْتَرَوْا طَعَامًا جِزَافًا أَنْ يَبِيعُوهُ فِي مَكَانِهِ حَتَّى يُحَوِّلُوهُ
