Narrated Jabir bin `Abdullah: On the day of the battle of Uhud, a man came to the Prophet and said, Can you tell me where I will be if I should get martyred? The Prophet replied, In Paradise. The man threw away some dates he was carrying in his hand, and fought till he was martyred .
Sahih Bukhari 4046 Urdu Text:
ہم سے عبداللہ بن محمد مسندی نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے سفیان بن عیینہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے عمرو بن دینار نے، انہوں نے جابر بن عبداللہ انصاری رضی اللہ عنہما سے سنا، انہوں نے بیان کیا کہ ایک صحابی نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے غزوہ احد کے موقع پر پوچھا: یا رسول اللہ! اگر میں قتل کر دیا گیا تو میں کہاں جاؤں گا؟ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ جنت میں۔ انہوں نے کھجور پھینک دی جو ان کے ہاتھ میں تھی اور لڑنے لگے یہاں تک کہ شہید ہو گئے۔
Sahih Bukhari 4046 Arabic Text:
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ , حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ , عَنْ عَمْرٍو , سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا , قَالَ : قَالَ رَجُلٌ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ : أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ قُتِلْتُ فَأَيْنَ أَنَا ؟ قَالَ : فِي الْجَنَّةِ , فَأَلْقَى تَمَرَاتٍ فِي يَدِهِ , ثُمَّ قَاتَلَ حَتَّى قُتِلَ .
