Sahih Bukhari 3392 – English Translation
The Prophet (ﷺ) returned to Khadija رضی اللہ عنہا while his heart was beating rapidly. She took him to Waraqa bin Naufal who was a Christian convert and used to read the Gospels in Arabic Waraqa asked (the Prophet), "What do you see?" When he told him, Waraqa said, "That is the same angel whom Allah sent to the Prophet) Moses. Should I live till you receive the Divine Message, I will support you strongly. "النَّامُوسُ" means a confidant to whom a person confides his those secrets which he does not reveal to any other.
Sahih Bukhari 3392 – Urdu Translation
پھر نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ( غار حراء سے ) ام المؤمنین حضرت خدیجہ رضی اللہ عنہا کے پاس لوٹ آئے تو آپ کا دل دھڑک رہا تھا ۔ حضرت خدیجہ رضی اللہ عنہا آپ کو ورقہ بن نوفل کے پاس لے گئیں ، وہ نصرانی ہو گئے تھے اور انجیل کو عربی میں پڑھتے تھے ۔ ورقہ نے پوچھا کہ آپ کیا دیکھتے ہیں ؟ آپ نے انہیں بتایا تو انہوں نے کہا کہ یہی ہیں وہ ” ناموس “ جنہیں اللہ تعالیٰ نے موسیٰ علیہ السلام کے پاس بھیجا تھا اور اگر میں تمہارے زمانے تک زندہ رہا تو میں تمہاری پوری مدد کروں گا ۔ ناموس محرم راز کو کہتے ہیں جو ایسے راز سے بھی آگاہ ہو جو آدمی دوسروں سے چھپائے ۔
Sahih Bukhari 3392 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عُقَيْلٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، سَمِعْتُ عُرْوَةَ، قَالَ قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ ـ رضى الله عنها فَرَجَعَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِلَى خَدِيجَةَ يَرْجُفُ فُؤَادُهُ، فَانْطَلَقَتْ بِهِ إِلَى وَرَقَةَ بْنِ نَوْفَلٍ، وَكَانَ رَجُلاً تَنَصَّرَ يَقْرَأُ الإِنْجِيلَ بِالْعَرَبِيَّةِ. فَقَالَ وَرَقَةُ مَاذَا تَرَى فَأَخْبَرَهُ. فَقَالَ وَرَقَةُ هَذَا النَّامُوسُ الَّذِي أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَلَى مُوسَى، وَإِنْ أَدْرَكَنِي يَوْمُكَ أَنْصُرْكَ نَصْرًا مُؤَزَّرًا. النَّامُوسُ صَاحِبُ السِّرِّ الَّذِي يُطْلِعُهُ بِمَا يَسْتُرُهُ عَنْ غَيْرِهِ.
